I make furniture on Vancouver Island on Canada’s west coast. In 2006-2007, I studied with Robert Van Norman at the Inside Passage School of Fine Woodworking located on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Before he opened his school, Robert studied with James Krenov at the College of the Redwoods in California, and he modelled his school after Krenov’s attention to detail, respect for materials, and focus on the heart and soul of the work.

My work has been exhibited in Canada and Barbados, and was featured in Fine Woodworking Magazine, Design Book Eight, and Furniture: 102 Contemporary Designs.
